All example software and firmware for the Saiko5 and LightShield can be accessed using our git repository. At present we do not have any official releases of the software. You can access the software by using git to clone the repository, or download the zip file to grab the current code in the git repository. All software is licensed under the GPL.
Note: The Saiko5 software suite is still under very active development. Currently the GUI is being dramatically improved, we're implementing a system to automatically change the network settings on lights, and we are updating the puredata script for better responses to music. Please check back for more information, or join our Development or Announce Lists for updates or in order to contribute.

git://github.com/saikoLED/WiShield_user_contrib.git -- .zip file of current source code from git
Note: The WiShield_user_contrib repository is a submodule of saiko5 and must be directed to place its contents in the libraries directory of the arduino-sketchbook.
Note: All software in our git repository is released as GPLv3 unless otherwise noted in the file. Files are in the process of having headers added to indicate this. Copyright for our modifications to the WiShield code, and code which was written entirely by us, is owned by either saikoLED, Brian Neltner, Dan Taub, Perry Hung, or RJ Ryan.
We are in the process of developing a LiveCD image based on Ubuntu 10.04LTS which will come with all of the necessary software (including Python, wxPython, PureData along with plugins, liblo, and arduino-0021) as well as a copy of our git repository configured correctly. Upon activation, you can easily update the git repository to the most current version of the software. We expect this LiveCD to be ready by the end of November.
This zip file includes the schematics, board layout, and eagle files for the Light Brick 5. The Light Brick 5 is the module used in the Saiko5 Fixture along with the Light Shield 7 and an Arduino. Firmware for the Arduino can be found above, along with control software.

This zip file includes the schematics, board layout, and eagle files for the Light Shield 7. The Light Shield 7 is an Arduino compatible shield which incorporates a switching supply to allow powering of the Arduino from 24VDC, a WiFi module based on the WiShield with fewer advanced options, and header which are compatible with the lines in the Light Brick 5 for controlling LEDs. Firmware for the Light Shield 7 is based on the WiShield firmware, with significant enhancements to improve stability. Additionally, the firmware for the Light Shield 7 incorporates Open Sound Control reception and interpretation.
